     Pastor Geordany Joseph of the LaJune Church in Haiti has informed us that he is having pastorgeordany.jpgserious difficulty in feeding his 50 or so orphans, as he simultaneously struggles to double the capacity of his orphanage to accept more children victimized by the January earthquake.

     He says, "Our orphans are really suffering for food because we never receive humanitarian help from anybody.  For now my pockets are empty with no money to buy food."

Following the devastating earthquake in January, hundreds of Haitian orphans still need your help.

We have scheduled a mission team to travel to the Haiti Children's Rescue Mission in Petionville, Haiti,haitiregister.jpg   on July 3rd and will return on July 10th.  This Mission is headed by Pastor Jean Fritz Nicholas and it needs our help.  Volunteers are needed to help with construction work (building a security wall) for their facility.

Foundation Seeks Volunteers for Orphanage

pastorgeordany&revelsea.jpgWOODSTOCK -- The catastrophic Haitian earthquake has led to Woodstock-based World Foundation for Children's biggest mission yet -- making room for more orphans in a country already full of orphans. It comes with a big price tag.

World Foundation for Children was started by Woodstock resident Bob Blair, whose former Christmas tree farm became the Volunteer Farm that supplies fresh fruits and vegetables to the Blue Ridge Area Food Bank.
